• Minimum 2nd Engineer CoC EO2 (STCW A-III/2)
• Medical certificate seafarers
• STCW Safety training-advanced
• STCW Security duties CoP
Job description
The 2nd Engineer participates in the general planning of maintenance and operations related to the vessel’s machinery, machinery equipment, and all tools onboard the vessel. The 2nd Engineer is responsible for ordering spare parts in cooperation and agreement with the Chief Engineer and must keep an overview of spare parts used, ordered and received.
