The minimum requirements to serve as AB/Crane Operator in Olympic are:
• AB CoP (STCW A-II/5)
• Crane operator Certificate (G5/Sparrows level 3)
• Medical certificate seafarers
• STCW Safety training
• STCW Security duties CoP
Job description
The AB/Crane Operator performs navigational watches and carries out maintenance work and other operational work as instructed. The AB/Crane Operator takes part in all loading, discharging and stand-by operations and other work related to the vessel's operation. The AB/Crane Operator is responsible for crane related maintenance work and to take active part in the planning of all crane operations.
