• Cook certificate/Certificate of apprenticeship Cook
• Medical certificate seafarers
• STCW Safety training
• STCW Security duties CoP
Job description
The Chief Steward is responsible for the catering department and has the daily supervision of meal preparation, menu planning and supplies. The Chief Steward is also responsible for the hygiene on board, cleaning plans and laundry. The Cook shall prepare and serve meals and participate in daily tasks in the catering department in agreement with the Chief Steward.
